Is the obd pin configuration for a Nissan pickup manufactured in South Africa the same as those made in other countries, my MD802 does not communicate with any of the modules, it is a 2004 2.4l Nissan

Does that vehicle have the 14 pin connector for Nissan, that about the time they quit using and went to the 16 pin only, but worth a look.

No it only has the 16 pin OBD2 connector, Have confirmed that Pin 16 is +12V, Pin 8 is Ign on +12V , Pins 4 and 5 are 0V chassis, the other pins that are wired are 1, 12, and 13. I think Pin 12 and 13 are for communication, have no clue what pin 1 is used for.

Two days later and a lot of online research!! this issue has been logged as a ticket with Autel as rather urgent and still no reply, never the less the problem has been temporarily resolved. When I received the MD802 in January this year a backup copy of the SD card was made of the original software (version: V4.40) before proceeding to do the latest software upgrade to (version: V4.50) it was this version of software that rendered the unit in capable of communicating with the Nissan Hard Body ECU, the new version (V4.50) was deleted from the SD card and the original version (V4.40) was copied back onto the SD card, hey presto the MD802 is now able to communicate with the ECU. This was a short lived sense of accomplishment, now being able to communicate with the ECU and retrieve the DTC's the codes returned are as follows.
    E1
    E3
    E5
    E6
These are all reported by the MD802 as being a NATS malfunction, only now I am having difficulty trying to obtain a more specific explanation for each of the above mentioned DTC's, would much appreciate it if anyone could point out any references.
